President's Message
Happy New Year everyone!
Your NDPCS Board of Directors has been working hard this year to make the 35th Anniversary Convention one to remember. We need you to round up your fellow NDPCS members and get them to the Holiday Inn in Fargo June 7-9, 2024. Our convention chairs Linda Fiedler and Tara Holt are planning some special events that you will not want to miss. Don and Rose Ann Goerger are working on the commemorative to honor the occasion.
In case we forgot to remind you, we need your active involvement to keep NDPCS a vibrant organization. Please contact your board members with suggestions to increase membership, promote the organization and improve our communication prior to the Spring Board of Directors meeting. Please submit news articles for the newsletter and volunteer to help with the convention. We welcome your support!
Finally, it was a sad day to sell my collection and downsize so thank you to everyone who helped make that happen. I did manage to keep a few Thomas Hansen birds. These pheasants were a Christmas gift from my wife many years ago courtesy of Bill Vasicek.
Happy Hunting,
Michael Kaul

2024 NDPCS Commemorative
by Don and Rose Ann Goerger
THE 2024 ANNIVERSARY Commemorative piece this year naturally is taking on a special significance due to it being our 35th anniversary. The delay at this time in having a finished piece to show you is due to the potter getting herself reestablished. Her name is Ashley Palmer and she is taking over the shop previously run by Julie Schuster and specializes in the type of item we were interested. I am sure you will be pleased with this highly collectable item.
